KARACHI: MQM-Pakistan leader Farooq Sattar has said his party is determined to serve citizens of Karachi despite having limited resources, ARY News reported.
Addressing a press conference here, Sattar said ‘curtailed powers’ to the mayor of Karachi couldn’t hamper the mission to serve citizens.
“We have a policy to prove our commitments for Karachi with our actions”, he said.
Sattar said initiation of 100-day cleanliness campaign in Karachi was a step towards development of the metropolis.
He appealed the masses to make this campaign a success.
“After completion of this 100-day cleanliness campaign, we will next start a 65-day drive in the city.”
He said criminal neglect shown by the Sindh government destroyed Karachi’s infrastructure. “This city is no more suitable for living,” he added.
