According to details, Nadra employees staged a demonstration outside regional headquarters, wherein the participants were carrying placards with slogans against attacks on Nadra offices.
President of Nadra employees’ action committee, while addressing the demonstration, said that Nadra offices in Baldia and Malir came under attack by unknown persons this month, but no security arrangements were made in the wake of incidents.
Protesting employees demanded removal of acting DG Nadra alleging that workers are being intimidated by issuing an illegal chargesheet.
They also bemoaned transfers after a period of every three months.
