According to details, the airline service has been launched on the directions of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
The airbus was given a water salute upon its arrival in Skardu. The aircraft has been given the historic look of the olden days of the national airliner.

Shujaat Azeem, PM Nawaz’s advisor on aviation, had inaugurated the new flight in a ceremony in Islamabad earlier this week.

The PM’s adviser on aviation said that the people of Skardu will be facilitated by the new flight and will also promote tourism in the country.

He also said that the people used to face problems due to weather conditions but now they will be relieved.
It should be noted that Skardu attracts lots of tourists each year for its breath-taking scenery.
