Ninth grade exams: New schedule announced amid delay rumours

LAHORE: Punjab board issued a new schedule for ninth grade students as the exams got postponed amid violent protest and security situation in Punjab, ARY News reported on Saturday.

According to the details, the Lahore Board has issued a new schedule for the papers that were postponed due to the deteriorating situation according to which the exams will resume from Monday, May 17.

The exam of Quran translation will be held on May 17 and the Chemistry paper on May 18.

The board have instructed the candidates to visit their designated exam centers at the appointed time, as per their already assigned roll number slips which can be downloaded from the board’s website www.biselahore.com.

Meanwhile the superintendents have been directed to accept old roll number slips.

It should be noted here that after PTI chief Imran Khan’s arrest, educational institutions in Punjab were closed and exams were postponed for two days due to violent protests and the volatile security situation.
