MULTAN: The Punjab government has decided to take action against those who were found responsible in the Nishtar Hospital bodies scandal in the light of an inquiry report, ARY News reported.
According to the details, strict against will be taken against those who are involved in the mishandling of unclaimed bodies on the roof of Nishtar Hospital Multan.
The inquiry has been concluded and the inquiry report is now submitted to the Additional Chief Secretary.
The report says the police is responsible to take the dead body back after 28 days of bringing it to the hospital. Then the police, along with the Union Council secretary will bury the dead body.
Police and hospital administration will stay in contact until the burial of the dead body.

Earlier Punjab CM Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi took notice of the Nishtar hospital bodies scandal and ordered an inquiry into the matter, ARY News reported.
Punjab CM expressing grief on the issue ordered an inquiry into the matter. Strict action should be taken against those responsible for the mishandling of bodies.
Desecration of bodies cannot be allowed in any civilized society as it is an inhuman act to throw bodies on the roof of a hospital.
