No-confidence motion moved against Balochistan CM

QUETTA: As many as fourteen lawmakers have moved a motion of no trust against Balochistan Chief Minister Sanaullah Khan Zehri for allegedly failing to resolve the issues the province is facing.

MPA Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo submitted the motion in the provincial assembly, which is being backed by 13 other lawmakers of the house.

Mr Bizenjo told the media that the provincial government has failed to address their reservations with regard to the previous provincial budget.

The chief minister was not serious about resolving their issues, and this is the reason they have moved the motion of no confidence against Zehri, he said.

Besides this, he added, since the incumbent chief minister took over the reins of power, no significant improvement was seen in the situation of the province.

The lawmaker said the chief minister and provincial ministers were conspicuous by their absence as the problems continue to trouble the people of the province.

He said they have used their constitutional right by moving the no-confidence motion and those who were desirous of  unemployment and lawlessness will oppose it

It is pertinent to mention here that the Balochistan assembly comprises of 65 members and 52 members are part of the coalition ruling the province.
