ISLAMABAD: Anti-Corruption Court on Monday issued non-bailable arrest warrants against former Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gillani and senior Pakistan Peoples Party leader (PPP) Makhdoom Ameen Faheem in seven cases of the Trade Development Authority (TDA) scam, ARY News reports.
Federal Investigation Authority (FIA) submitted five challans in the court in which Yousuf Raza Gillani and Makhdoom Ameen Faheem were shown as absconders.
The court has ordered the former PM and PPP leader to appear in the court on 17th June.
In the scandal, twenty seven cases have been filed out of which six challans have already been submitted in the court. They have been accused of creating bogus export companies and causing TDA loss worth of billions of rupees.
