ISLAMABAD: Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan on Friday said that Indian Prime Minister Modi should remember that not all Pakistanis are cowards like Nawaz Sharif, ARY News reported.
Addressing his party’s rally in Raiwind, the PTI chief maintained that Indian media after PM Nawaz’s United Nations speech claimed that Nawz read the script provided by army and was himself reluctant to launch a verbal offensive against India or raise Kashmir issue.
“Modi must remember that not all Pakistanis are cowards like Nawaz Sharif and we know how to respond to such threats,” said Imran Khan.
He slammed Modi for “disappointing both the people of Pakistan and India by his politics and lack of statesmanship.
“We thought premiership will change you and make you a statesman but you disappointed us and proved that you are nothing but a racist and nationalist leader,” said Imran Khan.
He also voiced support for people of Kashmir and claimed that the people of the Indian-Occupied valley are sick of the Indian rule and are themselves protesting against the Indian occupation, without backing from any external country.
Khan claimed that Kashmiri freedom movement cannot be suppressed through Indian state terrorism.
BLOCKADE AFTER MUHARRAM
The rally, which was called to protest against alleged corruption by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, saw Imran Khan announcing a complete blockade of capital Islamabad after the holy month of Muharram.
