LAHORE: Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Thursday said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) Imran Khan’s claims have been bundle of lies by stating that even if a penny was offered to Khan as bribe proved, the nation must not forgive him till judgment day, ARY News reported.
Addressing a ceremony on Orange Line Scheme, the chief minister said that he would challenge Khan’s statement in the court.
“Imran Khan has lobbed an allegation against me by asking him to remain silent on Panamagate verdict against Rs 10 billion, is a sheer lie. I have decided to approach the court in this regard”, said Shahbaz Sharif.
Terming his allegations a blatant lie, Shabaz Sharif said that Imran Khan has set a record of telling lies. “I would challenge the statement in the court by utilizing my legal right”, he added.
Furthermore he said that if a single penny has been offered to Imran Khan proved in the court, the entire nation must not forgive him till the judgment day.
Meanwhile, the opposition leader of National Assembly Syed Khursheed Shah declared the offer to the PTI chairman Imran Khan a big scandal by urging inquiry in the matter.
Earlier today, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) lawmaker Daniyal Aziz has refuted Imran Khan’s claim by urging him to disclose the name of the person who came up with the offer.
