Pakistan Army focused on defending the motherland: Gen Raheel Sharif

In his message on the Defence Day, the COAS said the enemy (India) secretly attacked Pakistan 50 years ago and was responded befittingly.

Army chief speech on Defence DaySharif’s message came on the occasion of Defence Day which was read out by Corps Commander Southern Command Lieutenant General Nasir Janjua at the Youm-e-Shuhuda event.

Pakistan capable to strongly retaliate to enemy’s aggression: COASThe army chief said the ongoing operation against militants ‘Zarb-e-Azb’ will soon achieve its targets.

He said the operation had destroyed terrorists in war a war which Pakistan was fighting for last 13 years.
