Pakistan can only progress by following Jinnah’s vision: SBP governor

LAHORE: Paying tribute to ‘Father of Nation’, State Bank of Pakistan Governor Tariq Bajwa on Friday said that Pakistan can only progress by following the vision of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, ARY News reported.

SBP Governor Tariq Bajwa said this during his visit to a special exhibition devoted to portraits of Quaid-e-Azam painted by renowned artist Saeed Akhtar at National College of Arts in Lahore.

Tariq Bajwa said that Muhammad Ali Jinnah was a great leader and beacon of light for the nation. He said that the exhibition was initially started in Karachi but later its ambit was extended to other cities as well.

Earlier, Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) had devised a special traffic plan for Joint Services Pakistan Day Parade on March 23 and its preparations in the federal capital to facilitate citizens.

Senior Superintendent of Traffic Police Farrukh Rasheed in a video message, on March 19, had said heavy vehicles would not be allowed to enter in Islamabad on March 17, 19, 21 and March 23 for two hours between 12:00am to 2:00pm.
