Pakistan’s soil not being used against any country: Army chief

RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Monday said Pakistan’s soil was not being used for terrorist activities against any other country nor shall we tolerate any such action against Pakistan.

He said this in a meeting with US Ambassador to Pakistan David Hale at General Headquarters GHQ in Rawalpindi. Matters of mutual interest including regional security issues were discussed during the meeting.

The ambassador acknowledged Pakistan Army’s efforts in securing control of areas on Pakistan side of the border and said   that both countries can carry forward the work done towards enduring peace and stability in the region through enhanced coordination and cooperation.
