PAT chief Tahirul Qadri departs for London

LAHORE: Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Tahirul Qadri on Thursday morning departed for London.

The PAT chief boarded a Turkish Airline flight TK-715 for London from Allama Iqbal International Airport.

According to the party sources, Qadri will participate in various organizational programmes and also deliver lectures at different British universities during his British visit.

The PAT chief’s tour will span over 22 days.

During his around a month foreign tour, Qadri will also visit Canada for medical check-up and return to Pakistan after visiting Saudi Arabia where he will perform Umrah.

Earlier on August 21 last year, the PAT chief had left for London after a brief stay.

Boarding his flight, Qadri then lashed out at former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his family for their alleged involvement in corrupt practices.

He returned to the country after a fortnight long foreign visit.
