ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has convened the meeting of National Security Committee (NSC) on Wednesday to review national and regional security situation.
The meeting will be attended by ministers of interior, defence and foreign affairs, services chiefs and civil and military officers.
Meanwhile, Federal Cabinet will meet in Islamabad on Tuesday with the prime minister in the chair.

It is pertinent here to mention that the high-level civil-military leadership’s meeting is being convened
at a time when US President Donald Trump gave statement against Pakistan.Trump has threatened to stop all aid to Pakistan accusing Islamabad of harbouring terrorists that US is hunting in Afghanistan.
In a tweet posted on his official Twitter account, Trump said that the United States has “foolishly” given Pakistan more than 33 billion dollars in aid over the last 15 years and has gained nothing from it.
