The COAS briefed the PM Nawaz on military operation against militants in North Waziristan. The premier expressed satisfaction of the operation progress so far.
The meeting also discussed issues facing the internally displaced persons. They agreed to resolve all problems currently being faced by IDPs. Both the dignitaries deliberated upon Article-245 of the Constitution regarding civil leadership seeking help from army.
They also agreed to raise security issues on Pak-Afghan border on diplomatic levels.
