ISLAMADAB: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has reiterated that no one will be allowed to disrespect our martyrs, ARY News reported.
Addressing the “Azmat-e-Shuhada Conference” in Islamabad on Wednesday, he said facilitators and attackers of 9th May will be brought to the book.
The Prime Minister said the government and the state are fully committed to ensure respect of our heroes and will remember their sacrifices.
He said we tolerated all allegations levelled by PTI chairman Imran Khan on government, institutions and political leadership but attacking, burning and disrespecting memorials of Shuhada and Ghaziz will not be tolerated at any level.

The event was attended by families of Shuhada, Students from different schools and people belonging to different walks of life.
Earlier, Punjab government constituted 10 joint investigation teams (JITs) to probe the May 9 violence in Lahore, wherein military installations including Lahore Corps Commander’s house — also known as Jinnah House were attacked.
The JITs have been constituted to ‘conduct and finalise investigation’ into first information reports (FIRs) registered at Sarwar Road Police Station, Gulberg, Model Town, Shadman, Naseerabad, and Race Course.

Violent clashes broke out across Pakistan after former prime minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief Imran Khan was arrested from the Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Tuesday.
The protests were held in remote and major cities as the party workers are agitated due to their chairman’s arrest, with Balochistan, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Islamabad summoning the armed forces to ensure law and order.
Army installations and Corps Commander’s house in Lahore came under attack during a protest of PTI workers.
