At least 42 civilians were also injured in firing by Indian forces in Sialkot. Indian troops opened indiscriminate fire and pounded working boundaries in Sialkot sector due to which at least 12 civilians have been killed in last four days.
In view of the unprovoked Indian aggression, the prime minister has called National Security Council (NSC) meeting to discuss the issue on Friday at 10am in the capital. Heads of all three armed forces will also attend the meeting.
Pakistan has expressed its concern over India’s consistent LOC ceasefire violation and have launched a protest against the cross border firing incidents with United Nation Military Observer.
Masood Khan, Permanent Representative of Pakistan to the United Nations in New York, had demanded the UN to stop India from carrying out cross border fire. He added that he will also make the UN observers meet the people affected by the Indian fire.
India has violated the LOC ceasefire 31 times in 2013 due to which several people were killed.
