KARACHI: SSP Malir Rao Anwar on Saturday conducted a raid and recovered huge cache of arms from an amenity plot in Ahsanabad area of Karachi, ARY News reported.
The arms were reportedly hidden by two sector in-charges of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) London, Naseem of Malir area and Mansoor of New Karachi.
The arms included light machine guns, sub-machine guns, explosive materials and other weapons.
Rao Anwar said the arms were hidden in the plot on instructions of the MQM London leadership.
This should be noted that a large number of arms and ammunition of the above mentioned political party have been recovered from different locations of the metropolis. The weapons are believed to have been hidden to create anarchy in the city on order of the MQM London leadership.
