PPP’s Marri critical of PML-N behaviour in Assembly

Marri while expressing her views in ARY News show ‘Off The Record” remarked that her party PPP behaved in the way parliamentarians should behave and it was PPP co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari who advised Imran Khan to return to assemblies after the formation of judicial commission.

“It is your party which practically formed the judicial commission to invite PTI members to assembly and now you are using foul language against them”, Marri questioned PML-N leader Talal Chaudhry.

Marri was of the view that it must be clarified if Khwaja Asif’s outbursts and the hooting on PTI members were planned by PML-N because the whole episode overshadowed ‘Yemen’ issue for which the joint session was called.

The female politician opined that after a long struggle by PML-N and PPP, the estranged members of PTI came back to assemblies to contribute on all important ‘Yemen’ issue, PML-N should have welcomed them.

“Democratic system is gaining strength for which PPP rendered sacrifices”, said Marri.

Mari expressed serious reservations about the government’s conduct regarding joint session by saying that neither the opposition leader nor the leaders of opposition parties are being taken into confidence about how long the debate will take.
