Ahmad Nagar Police arrested PTI MPA Nasir Cheema on a complaint of harassment by a citizen. The case has also been registered against six other accused including the MPA’s son Jamal Nasir.
Complainant Imran had registered case against Nasir Cheema, PTI MPA from PP-97 Gujranwala, for intimidating voters during recent local government elections.
Cheema has been on bail in a firing case in which five people including a PML-N local councils candidate, were injured, police said.
