Pasha was taken into custody from his residence in Gulistan e Jauhar area of Karachi on March 21. He is the deputy convener of the MQM coordination committee.

The paramilitary force had produced him before an anti-terrorism court (ATC) form where he was sent into Rangers’ custody on 90-day remand.
Rangers, however, released Shahid Pasha before the expiry of 90-day remand.
After being released, Pasha reached MQM headquarters Nine Zero on Tuesday evening and met members of the MQM lawmakers and members of the coordination committee.
