Reham Khan reaches JPMC but finds no heatstroke patients there

Speaking to the media after landing in Karachi, Reham Khan said that she had come to the city to visit the patients admitted in the hospital for heat-related illnesses.

“I was a bit late in reaching Karachi but I have arrived now”, she said.

However, she really was late in reaching since the facility’s Joint Executive Director Dr Seemin Jamali told Ms Khan that all the heatstroke patients had been discharged after treatment.

 

She also criticized the federal and Sindh Governments responsible for the deaths caused by heatwave in the city.
