Foreign news agencies reported that Michael Claude, 19, called emergency services after he got stuck in an elevator, soon after breaking into a school.
The elevator maintenance team arrived at the school soon after the call and opened the door for him.
He was charged for burglary, criminal mischief and theft. He was released on $3,800 bail.
