Sania Mirza’s sister to split from husband: reports

MUMBAI: While tennis star Sania Mirza is soon going to step into motherhood, the married life of her younger sister Anam Mirza is on the verge of a split as she has decided to call it a day with her husband Akbar Rasheed.

The married life of Sania’s sister is passing through a bumpy road, lately. As after two years of marriage, Anam Mirza has decided to part ways from her husband.

According to Indian website PinkVilla, decision of divorce came as a surprise, the reasons of which are still unknown. However legal proceedings for a divorce are underway.

As the Indian media is reporting, by focusing on rumblings and rumors related to the matter, it is assumed that Anam never gives due importance to her home but has always been more interested in being a stylist of her sister Sania Mirza.

In the year 2016, Anam tied the knot with her close friend Akbar Rasheed in India. It was a love marriage attended by the families of both sides along with other notables from the field of media and sports.

People close to the family are upset with the news of Anam’s divorce. But on the other hand, they are quiet excited and counting days for the arrival of a new addition in Sania and Shoaib Malik’s family.
