The ongoing talks between Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Muslim League Quaid (PML-Q) for seat adjustment for the next general elections remained inconclusive, citing sources, ARY News reported on Monday.
Sources told ARY News that PML-Q sought seat adjustment with PTI in Gujrat, Wazirabad, Mandi Bahauddin, Daska, Hafizabad, Chakwal and Bahawalpur constituencies.
In the constituencies, the PML-Q expressed willingness to contest elections on the national and provincial seats.

Sources added that PML-Q is holding negotiations for different constituencies other than the political party had already won in the 2018 general elections.
However, several rounds of talks between PTI and PML-Q seat adjustment committees did not reach any decision so far.
Yesterday, PTI Vice President Fawad Chaudhry, while talking to the ARY News programme Aiteraz Hai, said that talks are underway. He expressed hopes that 187 lawmakers will announce their support in the Punjab Assembly.

The session was attended by Pervaiz Elahi, Moonis Elahi, Hussain Elahi, Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Pervez Khattak, Fawad Chaudhry, Farhat Abbasi and others.
