Shahzad had written a letter to the PCB apologizing for his behavior and promised to be a better player, and requested them to allow him to attend the fitness camp.
However, the selection committee has refused to be intimated by player power, and has vowed to bring them on track. They said that Shahazad’s inclusion would get a negative image to other players.
Shahzad was axed from the camp due to ill-discipline and attitude problems by new chief selector Inzamam-ul-Haq.
A boot camp is also scheduled to take place in Abbottabad from 14th May and will feature the 35 players who names have already been provided.
Shehzad was also mentioned for ill-discipline by former Coach Waqar Younis and Manager Intikhab Alam in their reports over the reasons for the debacle during Asia Cup and Twenty20 World Cup.
