A division bench headed by Justice Sajjad Ali Shah turned down the apologies of 14 police officers of Sindh Police including I.G. Sindh in a contempt of court hearing.
Former home minister of Sindh Dr. Zulfiqar Mirza,his supporters and a number of newsmen were beaten by policemen in Sindh High Court premises.
The counsel of I.G. Sindh Ghulam Hyder Jamali gave his arguments over the contempt plea of Zulfiqar Mirza during the case hearing today.
The bench after hearing arguments of the counsel rejected the apology of the police officers.
Charges could be framed against the police officers in the next hearing of the case on November 25.
