Lal Haveli holds power to take over govt. : Sheikh Rasheed

RAWALPINDI:  Awami Muslim League (AML) chief Sheikh Rasheed on Wednesday said that the government will not be able to hide its face if he shows documents proving his ownership of Lal Haveli, ARY News reported.

Posting tweets in response to the notice he has been served to vacate Lal Haveli─ his residence- Rasheed said that a government which is scared of push-ups is now sending him a notice to vacate Lal Haveli.

According to ARY News reporter Babar Malik, Rasheed also vowed to take the matter to court and has also contacted his legal team over the matter.

The AML chief, who is one of the key leaders supporting Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) November 2 protest demanding PM’s accountability, was served a notice by ‘Matrooka-Waqf Imlak‘ (Evacuee Trust Property Board) to vacate Lal Haveli in 15 days.
