A shocking incident occurred in Tamil Nadu, India, where a cricket fan stabbed his friend for criticizing Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma.
The unfortunate incident occurred on Thursday when the two friends, Dharamraj and Vignesh, were out for a drink. A heated conversation about cricket turned violent and claimed the life of one of the friends.
According to media reports, the deceased Vignesh criticized Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma, agitating Dharamraj and causing a fight.
The accused allegedly murdered his fellow by stabbing him to death while intoxicated because he couldn’t hear ill about his favourite cricket players.
Social media was overwhelmed with posts about the incident as soon as the incident came to light.
Cricket is cherished in India, no less than a religion, and people celebrate the sport like a festival. However, this case was one of a kind, where a person has been killed over a cricket argument.
