FAISALABAD: Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC) has accepted Taliban’s challenge to hold a debate, Chairman Sahibzada Hamid Raza says that the practices of Pakistani Taliban are against the terms of an Islamist Jihad – ARY News reports.
In a statement issued on Tuesday by the SIC, Sahibzada Hamid Raza claimed that whatever channel Taliban wants, SIC is ready to hold a debate on.
He stated that the challenge was accepted after consultation with Shayukh ul Hadith and other senior Ulama.
The Chairman SIC claimed that the practices of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) are not in accordance with the Islamic teachings about Jihad.
