Sindh minister asks MQM Pakistan to replace Wasim Akhtar as mayor Karachi

KARACHI: Sindh Minister for Transport Nasir Hussain Shah on Saturday asked Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Pakistan to replace Wasim Akhter with another party leader as mayor of Karachi, ARY News reported.

Taking a dig at the mayor Karachi, he said it has been some time since Wasim Akhter was doing lunatic talks.

“Since he has been released from jail, his mental condition seems in trouble,” he said adding that Wasim Akhtar was putting all the blame for his failure on the provincial government and giving himself full marks out of 100.

“I will like to appeal from the MQM Pakistan to nominate somebody else in place of the incumbent mayor Karachi,” he said.

This should be noted that after completion of 100 days of Akhtar’s cleanliness drive across the city, he has blamed the provincial government for his failure to achieve his target of cleaning the whole city.
