Singer Nicki Minaj makes it to Guinness World Records list

Singers Nicki Minaj and Doja Cat have set the Guinness World Record for being the first female rap duo to reach Billboard 100’s No.1 spot.

They set the world record with their single Say So. It became a massive hit and stood out from the rest of the top-performing songs back in May 16, 2020.

Guinness, stated that the previous record was set by singer Justin Bieber on September 12, 2015 with his superhit song What Do You Mean?

It is pertinent to mention that Doja Cat withdrew from the 2021 iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Tour after testing positive for coronavirus.

“I’m sad to share that I just tested positive as well and will no longer be able to perform on the rest of the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Tour,” the rapper wrote on Instagram.

She added: “While my spirits are down since I can’t be there to celebrate the holiday with my fans in Philly, DC, Atlanta and Miami, I’m doing ok and look forward to recovering and getting back out there as soon as I can!” she wrote.
