Suspected militant killed, three flee during police encounter

The operation was carried out on a tip-off regarding presence of criminal elements at a house in Safdarabad area.

When the law enforcement personnel reached the area, terrorists opened fire on them. In retaliation from the forces, one of the militants was killed.

Three terrorists managed to flee the scene under the cover of darkness.

Sources informed that a suicide vest, hand grenades and bullets were found from a possession of the slain terrorist.

Snap checking and search was enhanced in the area to catch the absconding militants.
