Encounter

Encounter are mostly carried out by district police and other security agencies to maintain law and order situation. These operations are also known as small ground operations against criminals and wanted personals. Ground operations are carried out by highly professional agents including based of valuable intelligence guidelines.

Encounter operations are done with the permission of higher authorities aware of all the consequences against it. Mostly before starting an operation a time span is given by the authorities to the criminals to lower their weapons and face the judiciary process. These operations are mostly carried out at night times as the chances of civilians’ casualty is very minimal.

There are many specialized officers who leads these operations are knows as “encounter specialist”. Many fake encounters are also being carried out as they are now openly reported, which is now being under observations of district governments as well as law enforcement agencies.
