The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has filed a corruption reference against Pakistan People’s Party leader Jam Khan Shoro in an illegal land allotment case
The proposed reference sent to Chairman National Accountability Bureau, Justice (retired) Javed Iqbal has been approved, the NAB's lawyer informed the SHC.
Sources told ARY News that the NAB investigators have recorded statements in corruption case against former minister for local government Jam Khan Shoro.
The NAB prosecutor informed the court that the accountability bureau didn't find any evidence against former minister Shoro in an inquiry about illegal allotment of KDA plots in Karachi.
On a question from the bench about the period of completion of inquiry against Shoro, the prosecutor responded the court that it will be completed within two months.
The high court expressed outrage over the report presented by a KDA official and said that the authority was apparently wanted to save responsible persons.
