The micro smart lockdown has been imposed for 15 days from June 1st (today) to June 15 in various areas of Gulberg, North Karachi, Liaquatabad and North Nazimabad towns
The notification stated that the imposition of micro-smart lockdown will come into effect from May 19 till June 2 in different areas and residential units due to the presence of COVID-19 patients.
According to a notification issued by deputy commissioner Malir, the micro-smart lock-down has been imposed in Bin Qasim and Airport sectors of the district.
The district administration has notified micro-smart lockdown in the street where British variant case has been reported in a house from April 26 to May 10.
The spokesperson admitted that a rise in the number of infections is witnessed in the province in September up to three per cent, however, it was not decided yet to impose micro-smart lockdown.
