Two foreign women injured in Lahore firing

According to details, two Chinese women, who are currently on a trade visit to Pakistan, had just come out of a restaurant in Garden Town area on Monday afternoon that armed robbers approached them and tried to snatch their handbags.

Upon resistance by the women, robbers opened fire at them and fled away after snatching their handbags which carried currency and passports.

The injured women were immediately taken to Services Hospital, where they were reported to be out of danger.

Meanwhile, Punjab CM Shahbaz Sharif took notice of the incident and sought the inquiry report from the DIG Operations.
