According to police, they conducted a raid in industrial area of Korangi, where they had an encounter with criminals. Both of the miscreants were killed in exchange of fire with the police. They were identified as Bilal and Anwar.
The criminals had also kidnapped a two-year-old girl and demanding ransom from her family. Police recovered the girl after shooting dead the abductors.
Meanwhile, a child was injured in a cracker blast in Surjani Town. The cracker was hidden in a garbage dump where the child was playing.
In other incidents, three people were killed in firing in Mominabad, Orangi Town and Lyari.
