In a rare act of reptile capturing, wildlife officials in Louisiana dragged a trespassing alligator out of a resident’s garage and put the reptile in handcuffs.
St. Tammany Fire Protection District #1 posted a pair of videos to Facebook showing two Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries agents dragging an alligator out of a garage in Slidell and to the resident’s front lawn.
The alligator, which struggles against its captors, eventually grows tired and the wildlife agents are able to tape its mouth shut.
The agents also handcuff the alligator’s legs together to keep it from making another attempt to escape.
The reptile was then taken to a safe location and released.
