KARACHI: Weather remained hot and dry in most parts of the country. However, rain-thundershower occurred at isolated places in Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar division and Kashmir.

The heat wave will continue in Karachi through Wednesday.

Continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country.

According to Pakistan Meteorological Department, the highest maximum temperature recorded on Sunday is as follows: Mithi 45°C, Sibbi 44 °C, Karachi 44°C, Moenjodaro 43 °C, Mirpurkhas 43 °C, Shaheed Benazirabad 43 °C, Badin 43°C.

Rainfall happened in parts of Kalam, Dir,  Mirkhani, Drosh, Chitral , Balakot, Peshawar, Muzaffarabad, Okara, Astore, Chillas.

Weather forecast for Sunday night: Mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country. However, rain-thundershower with gusty winds is expected at a few places in Malakand division.

Weather forecast for Monday: Mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country. However, rain-thundershower with gusty winds is expected at a few places in Malakand division and upper FATA.
