The stormy winds in Thatta downed roofs of several mud huts in the coastal areas of the district and removed trees from their roots, local people said.
The windstorm also caused disruption to the power supply system rooting out the electricity poles.
The fishing boats returned back from the deep water to the coast after the rough weather and high waves in the sea.
The temperature dropped in the region due to gusty winds.
