Won’t do kissing, intimate scenes without thinking about me and Mira first– Shahid Kapoor

Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor in the latest bloke in B-town to get hitched. Just three months ago, Shahid’s wedding with Delhi-based girl Mira Rajput made the headlines. After his association with bachelorhood ended, it was an obvious question on everyone’s mind– would Shahid ever film an intimate scene again?

An Indian website asked the Bollywood actor this question, to which he replied:-

“I haven’t had the need to say no because so far, I haven’t been asked to do something I might have a problem with. But if it happens and I feel like it’s a little too much, I will definitely not do it. As I said, I won’t do anything without thinking about me and Mira together,” he said.

Shahid Kapoor also shared his thoughts on how Mira had changed his life for the better and made him a more well-mannered person.

“Marriage has changed me a lot. I think it’s the same for everyone. It makes you more responsible,” he said. The Bollywood actor further elaborated how he had started earning at an early age and was independent from the start, eating, sleeping and doing everything as and when he liked. However, marriage changed all of that for the better.

“I’ve been living on my own for the last nine years. I became independent at a very early age and had been earning for myself since I was 16. I shifted into a house of my own and started living alone when I was 24. So, although I have always had responsibilities towards my family, I have essentially lived a very independent life.”

Shahid Kapoor also shared his thoughts on marriage and how it grounded an individual.

“When you get married, it makes you feel a lot more responsible. It makes you feel settled, it grounds you and helps you understand where your future lies. It gives you a certain clarity. So you are like, ‘Okay, this is the rest of my life’. At least you think like that.”

Shahid Kapoor will be seen next in Shandaar opposite Alia Bhatt and his sister in the lead roles. The movie releases on October 22nd of this year.
